Ricardo Romiti, MD, PhD, is Director and Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of São Paulo (USP) in Brazil. Having gained his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo, Brazil, where he also completed his Residency in the Department of Dermatology, Professor Romiti undertook a 2-year Fellowship at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich, Germany. Professor Romiti is currently Board Member of the International League of Dermatological Societies (ILDS), Councilor of the International Psoriasis Council (IPC) and Associate of the International Eczema Council (IEC), Regional Coordinator for Latin America of the Global Psoriasis Atlas (GPA). Professor Romiti has authored or co-authored numerous papers published in national and international dermatology journals and is a reviewer of various international dermatology jounals. In addition, he is the editor of the 2024 Brazilian Consensus of Psoriasis and the editor of five books with a focus on psoriasis. Professor Romiti is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish and German.
