My research focuses on the development and evaluation of yoga-based breathing interventions in addiction treatment settings for smoking cessation and pulmonary health among populations with tobacco and alcohol use disorders. I have conducted randomized controlled trials examining the effects of yoga breathing on pulmonary function, respiratory health status, smoking-related outcomes, emotion regulation, mental health, and inflammatory markers.
