Dr. Ajeet Saoji, MBBS, MD, DPH, is currently serving as Professor in the Department of Community Medicine and Director of Research at NKP Salve Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre and Lata Mangeshkar Hospital, Nagpur. With over 26 years of extensive academic experience, he has been actively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, contributing significantly to teaching, mentoring, and academic development.
Dr. Saoji is a recognized PhD guide and has played a pivotal role in guiding doctoral scholars and fostering research excellence. He has served as Principal Investigator and Investigator for several funded research projects, including the MUHS-funded tribal health project BLOSSOM. His scholarly contributions include numerous publications in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals.
He has been an accredited faculty member for Research Methodology under the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) for more than two decades and has organized over 50 basic and advanced research methodology workshops, strengthening research capacity among medical professionals. In addition, he serves as a member of the Board of Research at MUHS, reflecting his leadership and commitment to advancing academic research and institutional development.
