About

Dr. Maham Arshad | Fellow Surgical Oncology

I’m a qualified General and Laparoscopic Surgeon with a strong foundation in trauma care, elective surgeries, and critical care — trained at leading institutions in Pakistan, including AMC/PGMI/LGH.

Currently pursuing a Surgical Oncology Fellowship at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital, I continue to broaden my expertise in complex cancer surgeries while maintaining my focus on clinical precision and patient-centered care.

With FCPS (General Surgery) credentials and certifications in ATLS and BLS, I’ve managed a wide range of surgical cases and thrive in high-pressure environments requiring quick, ethical, and collaborative decision-making.

I’m passionate about surgical education, communication, and continuous learning — and am currently registered with the Irish Medical Council (IMC) while exploring opportunities to contribute within healthcare systems abroad.

Multilingual in English, Urdu, Punjabi, and Hindi (and currently expanding my skills in Arabic), I bring a unique cross-cultural perspective, a love for mentorship, and a commitment to advancing surgical practice with integrity and innovation.
