About
With over 12 years of teaching experience, including 9 years as an Assistant Professor of Biochemistry, I have cultivated a robust academic and research portfolio. My qualifications include an MBBS, an M.Phil in Biochemistry, a Diploma in Public Health (DPH), and a Certificate in Health Professions Education (CHPE). My research work is at the intersection of clinical practice and biochemical science, aimed at enhancing patient care and advancing medical knowledge.
My research interests are diverse, encompassing the molecular mechanisms underlying diseases, the development of biomarkers for early diagnosis, and the exploration of metabolic pathways in chronic conditions such as diabetes and cardiovascular diseases and many more. I am also deeply engaged in public health research, particularly in epidemiology and the impact of environmental factors on health. Furthermore, I have a keen interest in medical education, where I focus on innovative teaching methodologies and the integration of technology in health professions education. My work in this area seeks to improve the educational experiences of future healthcare professionals and ensure they are equipped with the latest knowledge and skills to serve their communities effectively.
Through my research, I have contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and have presented my findings at national and international conferences. My commitment to advancing biochemistry and public health is reflected in my ongoing projects, which continue to explore new frontiers in medical science.
