I am a molecular geneticist, worked on cancer genomics and genetic diseases. I was co-PI in clinical trials on evaluating the efficacy of nutraceuticals in cancer prevention. I have carried out preclinical studies in animal models and developed cancer chemoprevention drug models. Evaluated platelets propagation from stem cells using papaya leaf extract. My studies involved gene expression profiles including microRNA, micro array, next generation sequencing, and proteomics. I have screened the anticancer effects of black tea polyphenols in breast cancer cell lines. I have established biobanks for medical research. Recent activities are on a innovative product "instapreserve" for biobanking of biospecimens at room temperature and replacement of formalin in clinical pathology.
