About

I am a General Surgery Registrar and MRCS-certified physician with over five years of clinical experience in Sudan and the UAE. I actively engage in research, having authored more than 12 publications including original studies and PubMed-indexed case reports. My work focuses on trauma surgery, surgical education, and healthcare challenges in low-resource and conflict-affected settings. I lead surgical audits, including closed-loop quality improvement projects, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement system-level changes. I’ve also taken on leadership roles in clinical teaching and research supervision. Currently, I am exploring the role of artificial intelligence in surgery and championing innovative solutions in humanitarian surgical care. I also serve as a peer reviewer for several international surgical journals.
