Mindy Oxman Renfro is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Montana – Missoula where she teaches in the DPT program. She is an invited member of the CDC’s Expert Fall Prevention panel and works closely with the physical therapy subgroup at a national level. She received her interdisciplinary PhD, transitional DPT, and certificate in public health from the University of Montana in 2011. She received her MS in Allied Health education from the University of Connecticut in 1984 and her entry-level BS in PT from the University of Vermont in 1977. Her areas of interest and current research are in fall risk assessment and fall prevention for community-dwelling older adults.
