About
Eisuke Hanada was born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1963. He received his B.Eng. and M. Eng. degrees from Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan, in 1985 and 1987, respectively. He received his D.Eng. degree from Saga University, Saga, Japan, in 2001.
He has worked in NEC Corp. for 5 years. Since 1992, he has worked at Nagasaki University Information Science Center for four years managing the campus LAN and information servers, and at the Department of Medical Information Science, Kyushu University Graduate School of Medical Science, the Division of Medical Informatics, Shimane University Hospital. Since 2014, he has been working at the Saga university Graduate school of Engineering and Science as a professor. He was also working in Kokushikan University (Tokyo) Faculty of Science and Engineering since 2008 to 2020.
His research involves the wired/radio communication environment, EMC of medical devices, hospital information systems, ICT/IoT systems in clinical scene, AI use for medical professionals, and telemedicine. He had involved in re-development of both Kyushu University Hospital and Shimane University Hospital.
Prof. Hanada is a member of the Japanese Society of Medical Informatics, the Information Processing Society of Japan, the Japanese Society of Medical and Biomedical Engineering, the Healthcare Engineering Association of Japan (a board member), Japanese Society of Medical Instrumentation, and the Acoustical Society of Japan.
