With over 20 years of national and international industry experience, including 16 years focused on Dermatology, Cosmetics, and Pain Management, Patel specializes in developing clinical study designs aligned with regulatory aspects and country-specific requirements for Pharmaceuticals, Cosmetics, Dermatology, Nutraceuticals, Herbal, Natural Health Products, and Personal Health Care Products. Her work emphasizes clinical efficacy and evidence-based claims substantiation.

Patel is an empaneled expert with the Advertising Standard Council of India (ASCI) in the Dermatology field. She has developed over 1000 protocols and EC submission packages (ICDs, CRFs) for BABE studies, Dermal Safety, and Efficacy Studies, and has designed over 200 protocols for therapeutic safety and endpoint studies for Phase Trials. Additionally, she has reviewed more than 1000 clinical study reports and over 100 protocols for therapeutic safety and endpoint studies for Phase Trials.

Patel has published 35+ papers and serves as a peer reviewer for Cureus Medical Science, DovePress, EJMP, the Journal of Dermatology Research and Skin Care, and the Journal of Dermatology & Cosmetology (JDC - MedCrave), Open Access Journal of Pharmaceutical Research (Medwin).
