I am currently working as an Assistant Professor at the College of Nursing, GSVM Medical College, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. I prioritize a learner-centered educational environment and emphasize critical thinking, effective communication, and evidence-based clinical practice. My academic and research specialization is in Medical-Surgical Nursing, with a sub-specialty in Gastroenterology.
I have extensive experience in teaching and research, with 25 published research papers and co-guidance of three undergraduate research theses. I have presented scientific papers as a featured speaker seven times at international conferences and twice at national conferences, including those held at AIIMS, Jodhpur, and ILBS, New Delhi.
In recognition of my research contributions, I have received the Young Researcher Award (2021) and the Research Excellence Award (2021) from the Institute of Scholars (InSc), and the Best UG Research Category Award (2025) at the First Research Showcase & Oration–2025, organized by Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS), Saifai, Etawah. I have conducted a national webinar on NABH accreditation preparedness, served as a Master Trainer for WHO-supported viral hepatitis projects, and have been invited as a guest speaker on viral hepatitis at UPUMS, Saifai.
I have served as an editor for the volume Futuristic Trends in Pharmacy & Nursing and actively contribute as an editor and peer reviewer for several international journals, having reviewed over 300 manuscripts. I am FibroScan certified and have performed more than 250 FibroScan assessments under the National Free Liver Check-Up Project.
I have been appointed as a Member of the Scientific / Abstract Review Committee for the 4th International Conference on Pediatrics and Child Health, scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from May 07–08, 2026. I have also been invited as an Organizing Committee Member for the Global Nursing and Health Systems Conference 2026, to be held in Utrecht, The Netherlands, contributing to scientific planning, abstract review, and international academic collaboration in nursing and global health systems.
My research interests include hepatology, clinical nursing practice, research methodology, emergency & critical care nursing education, pedagogy and evidence-based practice, with a focus on evidence-based practice and mentoring future nursing professionals.
