I am an Orthopedics and Traumatology Doctor, working in Colentina Clinical Hospital, Bucharest for more than 20 years, participating at both current surgical activities as well as various clinical educational activities (courses, works diploma, licenses).

I gained interest in arthroscopy and sports traumatology since 1997 when arthroscopic surgery was introduced in our hospital by the Florida Knee and Orthopedic Centers surgeons; I was among the first in the country with this qualification (2004) and have attended numerous courses as a lecturer: to be mentioned from the Romanian-American organized international courses in 2001 and 2002 to the International Arthroscopic Course from Tg Mures in 2017.

The research activity, developed for more than fifteen years, addresses areas of large current interest: biomaterials, orthobiologics, minimally invasive surgery, 3D planning and applications. The related scientific activity in this field, resulted in numerous papers and participation in congresses and conferences (ESSKA, ISAKOS, EFORT). I have a PhD Thesis from 2007 on the subject of knee cartilage therapy.

Using minimally invasive and conservative interventions is an area of personal application. To be mentioned here are a few techniques of interest as: arthroscopic meniscal and cartilage repair, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction with allograft, osteochondral autologous transplant, as well as PRP and hyaluronate injectable accessory treatments.
