About

I am a Ph.D. candidate specializing in epidemiology and biostatistics, investigating the health trajectories of Cameroonian immigrants in Germany, Belgium, and France. My research aims to understand how migration and aging intersect, with a focus on shaping health outcomes. Beyond my Ph.D. project, I am the founder and group leader of the β€œSocial Epidemiology Lab in Cologne, Germany. Our interdisciplinary team of researchers combines expertise in epidemiology, public health, social science, and data science to investigate how social determinants such as socioeconomic status, race, gender, and community resources impact health disparities and disease distribution.
Our work spans various topics, including access to healthcare, migration and aging disparities, environment and health, infectious disease transmission, mental health disparities, and the social determinants of chronic diseases.
Our collaborative efforts aim to generate evidence-based insights that inform policies, interventions, and programs to promote health equity and improve population health outcomes. Join us in our mission to advance the field of social epidemiology and create healthier, more equitable communities for all.
