About
I began my career in rheumatology in 1985. After completing my fellowship I entered private practice. I joined the staff of Jersey Shore University Medical Center and became an Instructor of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. I have had many students and residents rotate through my office over the ensuing years. In February 2017, I became a founding member of the Curriculum Development Committee for the course "Infection, Immunity, and Cancer" for the then future Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University. I was appointed a Core Assistant Professor of Medicine and taught portions of several first year (Phase 1) courses including "Infection, Immunity, and Cancer (I2C)"," Clinical Skills", and the "Longitudinal Clinical Preceptor program". I continue to teach in the Phase 1 course I2C, and the clinical elective "Rheumatology" which I developed and for which I am the course Lead. I am a member of the "Elective Review Working Group Committee" and the "Faculty Guide Sub-Committee". I have been the author or coauthor of 17 publications. I continue to maintain a full time private practice in rheumatology.
