Presently working as a Scientist C in the Multidisciplinary Research Unit (MRU) under Department of Health Research (DHR) at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital, Guwahati. I have around 14 years of experience in the field of research and teaching. I have completed my PhD in Medical Biotechnology. Worked as Assistant Professor in Department of Bioscience and was teaching B.Sc. Biotechnology and Microbiology courses. Also worked as Senior Research Fellow in Department of Biochemistry, Gauhati Medical College & Hospital. Attended numerous Workshops and trainings related to the field of science and healthcare. Trained at AIIMS, New Delhi in Molecular disease diagnosis. Published articles and case reports in National and International indexed Journals. Awarded few recognition awards during the teaching career. Appointed as a Resource person for the Association of Medical Biochemist of India (AMBICON 2016) in the Pre-Conference Workshop on Molecular diagnosis. Member of many Scientific Committees and also a reviewer for many reputed journals.
