Mardhiyati binti Mohd Yunus received a Bachelor of Diagnostic Imaging and Radiotherapy (Hons) from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in 2009 and a Master in Medical Imaging from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) in 2015. She has a Ph.D. in Diagnostic Imaging from UKM in 2023. She has 14 years of working experience in the healthcare sector as well as in academic institutions as a diagnostic radiographer, clinical instructor, academician, researcher, and also involved in management. She is currently working as a Lecturer, a Programme Coordinator of Medical Imaging, and lead Research & Publication Unit at the Faculty of Health Sciences, UNISEL. Her major interests are conducting research in breast imaging, cardiac imaging, medical image interpretation, image processing, and artificial intelligence focusing on radiomics study. She has received awards from International and Local Conference including the Gold Medal Award for her innovation and Special Award from CIIS at MTE 2023, Best Poster Award, Best Paper Award in 2021, 1st runner up for 3 Minutes Thesis Competition and Best Presenter Award in 2023. She has also published articles in WOS/Scopus-indexed journals and proceeding papers. She is experienced in handling viva voce as an examiner, co-supervised Ph.D. students, reviewed a few indexed journals and has also been a thesis formatter.
