About
During my doctoral research, I was primarily focused in HIV and Tuberculosis co-infection and their molecular interactions, immunological alteration in HIV-Tb co-infection, ART and ATT drugs interactions, the molecular epidemiology of HIV drug resistance mutation and the impact of active tuberculosis infection on emerging of HIV drug resistance mutations. the virological and immunological effect of vitamin-D and Zn supplements with HAART and ATT treatment among HIV-Tb infected and HIV along patients. I performed approximately 650 HIV-1 genotyping and generated drugs targeted HIV-1 genes sequences with using sanger sequencing . Also analyzed sequences for HIV-1 drugs resistance mutations that listed by WHO transmitted/primary and secondary Drug Resistance Surveillance Mutations list by using ViroSeq software (Abbott, USA), as well as online database The Stanford HIV Drug Resistance Database. I have estimated Nevirapine and Rifampicin plasma drugs levels of HIV-Tb co-infected and alone patients by using HPLC and LC-MS. During this period, I performed more than ten thousand reactions for HIV-1 viral load quantification by using qPCR method (Abbott, USA). I did analysis of immunological status, immune activation markers of patients with flowcytometry technique used analysis software e.g., Cellquest, Multiquest, Flowjo (BD- USA).
After completing my PhD, I worked as senior research fellow at Molecular virology laboratory, Department of microbiology, AIIMS, New Delhi, India. During this period, I was Involved in research and diagnostic works, Molecular Assay to standardization, optimization Validation qPCR and PCR based molecular assay for viruses, standardization and optimization of in-house HIV drug resistance genotyping assay detection and sub-typing of Influenza virus by Real Time PCR (CDC protocol), Detection of CMV, HPV, HSV viruses by PCR, Dengue qualitative, quantitative and sub-typing by Real Time PCR, Detection of HIV-1 DNA by real time PCR for diagnosis of HIV in newborn baby. Viral DNA/ RNA extraction from clinical samples. Also involved in quality assurance and quality control Exercises of Laboratory.
Currently, I’m working as Assistant Professor at Faculty of Medicine, International Ala-Too University, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Due to lake of founding and research infrastructure, I am, doing only survey-based research.
