Graduated from Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt in 1984 and got Medical Doctorate of Internal Medicine, Egypt in 1997. He received a Fellowship of the American College of Physicians (FACP) in 2012, a Fellowship of the American Society of Nephrology (FASN) in 2012, and a Fellowship from the American Society of Transplantation (FAST) in 2018. He is currently a Professor of the Internal Medicine Department at the College of Medicine and Medical Sciences, Arabian Gulf University, and a Consultant Nephrologist at King Abdulla University Medical City in Bahrain. He is a Professor of Nephrology at the Urology & Nephrology Center, University of Mansoura, Egypt. He has more than 88 publications in peer-reviewed indexed journals and more than 100 presentations and lectures at different local and international conferences. He is an Editorial board member in 4 clinical journals and a reviewer in 6 academic medical journals.
