Between 1983 and 1988, graduated in dentistry at the Dental School of the Lebanese University.
In 1990, he acquired Doctor in Dental Medicine from the Sorbonne Faculty University of Paris V.
Post graduated in Oral Surgery from the University of Paris VI and in Periodontology from the Salpétrière Institute University of Paris VI as well as a Doctorate in Odontology from the Faculty of Dental Medicine of Reims, France 1994.
In 2003, he became diplomat of the European Board of Oral Surgery.
He acquired the High degree in research (HDR), Research Experience in Oral Sciences, Doctorate School of Science and Technology, Lebanese University, May 2013.
He is Professor at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dental Faculty and Researcher in the Doctorate School of Science and Technology, Lebanese University.
He also leads many academic positions, in the Lebanese University, such: head section of Oral Pathology (1994-1996), head section of Oral Surgery (1997-1999), director of postgraduate program of Oral Surgery (2001-2003 and 2015-2017), Director Master program of Oral Surgery (2016-2018) and Chairperson of the department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (2006-2013, 2017-2019, 2021-2023), Scientific Committee member (2010-2023) and Academic Coordinator (2019-2023), Dental Faculty, Lebanese University.
Furthermore, beside his private practice in Lebanon, he is the Founder and past president of the Lebanese Society of Oral Surgery.
Member of the European Society of Oral Surgery, he published more than 115 scientific papers and over 200 lectures.
