Dr. Ankit Gupta is Director & Head, Dr. O.P. Chaudhary Hospital and Research Institute, Lucknow. He
previously served as Assistant Professor at AIIMS Raebareli, where, as a founding faculty member 2022-
2025, he was instrumental in establishing comprehensive cardiology services OPD, IPD, and Cath Lab programs. Over three years, he has delivered more than 50,000 outpatient consultations, managed 10,000+ inpatient admissions, performed 5,000+ invasive cardiac procedures. His clinical & interventional expertise
encompasses primary PCI, CTO interventions, peripheral angioplasty, device implantation, pediatric
interventions, and advanced heart failure management. Actively engaged in academic leadership, he has organized high-impact national & international workshops, serves as faculty at major global cardiology
conferences. He received Best Young Cardiologist title CIC 2025, Lucknow. In addition to my clinical duties, I have actively organized several workshops to foster education and skill development in our field, including a Structural Heart Intervention workshop featuring Prof. Dr. Jeet Ram Kashyup, a Drug Coated Balloon workshop led by Prof. Dr. Bernardo Cortese from Italy, and a CTO & CHIP workshop with Dr. N Takeshii from Japan, all hosted at our center. These workshops have not only advanced the knowledge of our team but have also contributed to the cardiology community by emphasizing the importance of innovative techniques and collaboration.
I am deeply committed to my academic pursuits and consistently engage in national and international symposiums as a speaker and moderator.
