Alexander Fishberg, MD, (Winter Park, FL) received his medical degree at the University of South Florida and did his residency at the Hinsdale Hospital in Chicago. Currently, he administers a Community Health Grant for Florida Hospital which provides colon cancer screening, endoscopy and digestive health services to the uninsured and underserved populations of Central Florida. He is the Associate Program Director at Florida Hospital Family Medicine Residency and has clinical appointments with Florida State University and the University of Central Florida. At the University of Central Florida, he serves as a reviewer for their online publication, the Flagship. He is a sought after speaker regionally and nationally. He has taught colonoscopy and esophagogastroduodenoscopy to almost a generation of family physicians and serves as the current Secretary/Treasurer for the American Association of Primary Care Endoscopy. He lives in Orlando with his wife and two children.
