Sercan Okutucu, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine is a graduate of Hacettepe University Medical School in Turkey (1st degree). He trained in cardiology at the Hacettepe University Department of Cardiology (1st degree in Turkish Medical Speciality Examination, best score ever). After his training, he joined Near East University as Assistant Clinical Professor and later joined as head of cardiology department and coronary care unit in Karabuk University School of Medicine. In October 2017, he was promoted to Associate Professor of Medicine due to his clinical work, teaching, service and research with over 100 peer reviewed publications.
Okutucu has been practicing since 2006, the last 3 years in Memorial Healthcare Group, Memorial Ankara Hospital selected as one of the top 3 hospitals in the Turkey. Okutucu’s practice specializes in the hypertension, heart failure and pulmonary hypertension. He is the head of the coronary care unit. Okutucu's interests also include coronary artery disease, cardiac autonomic functions, data mining, percutaneous coronary interventions, structural heart diseases, and non-invasive electrocardiology.
