About
Ekin Can Uzunoglu, M.D. has been a post-doctoral research fellow in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville since 2022. Dr. Uzunoglu graduated with an honors degree from the Ege University School of Medicine in Izmir, Turkey, where he completed training in medicine. He practiced medicine in several underserved cities in Turkey as a general practitioner. He then pursued training in family medicine at the University of Health Sciences in Bursa, Turkey, until his current research position in cardiology. His clinical research interests include electrophysiology, interventional cardiology, platelet function, genetic testing, inflammation, and lipids.
