About
My academic and professional journey has been defined by a deep interest in statistics and epidemiology, beginning during high school. Inspired by a nonfiction investigative report on the impact of industrial pollution on childhood cancers, I shifted my major to Biometry and Statistics. Under faculty guidance, I honed my statistical and mathematical skills, applying them to diverse fields. I contributed to projects ranging from software development for phenotype studies to optimizing image detection algorithms for microarray quality control. Further studies encompassed advanced molecular techniques and medical research, including antibiotic use in malnutrition alleviation. Throughout, I fostered collaborations and met mentors, shaping my commitment to applying data-driven solutions to complex medical challenges.
