Cardiology Specialist Registrar | Medical Educator | Founder, MedHeart Consulting LTD

I am a dedicated cardiology trainee and medical educator committed to advancing both clinical excellence and academic development. My medical journey began at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras (UNAH), where I obtained my MD, before moving to the UK to pursue postgraduate training. Following three years of Internal Medicine in Manchester, I achieved Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP, London).

Currently, I am a Specialist Registrar in Cardiology (ST6) within the Yorkshire and Humber Deanery. Alongside my clinical work, I hold an MSc in Medical Education from the University of South Wales and serve as a Council Member of the Academy of Medical Educators (MAcadMEd)—roles that reflect my commitment to fostering professional growth and shaping the future of medical education.

As Founder of MedHeart Consulting LTD, I support international medical graduates (IMGs) aspiring to train in the UK by offering tailored mentoring, PLAB 2 preparation, interview coaching, and postgraduate application guidance. Drawing on my own experience, I aim to empower others to navigate the challenges of professional development with confidence.

In 2025, I was elected Subeditor for the British Cardiovascular Society and awarded a Clinical Research Training Fellowship from the British Heart Foundation to undertake a DPhil in Medical Sciences at the University of Oxford, focusing on cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) and cardiac metabolism.
