Dr. Shirin Dasgupta is a faculty in Dr. B. C. Roy Multi Speciality Medical Research Centre, IIT Kharagpur. She is a Gold Medalist in MD (Pathology). Also, she has passed the Part 1 examination (Histopathology) of Fellow of Royal College of Pathologists (UK) and is currently a Diplomate Member of Royal College of Pathologists (DipRCPath). She has published 8 research papers in international and national journals. After joining Dr. B. C. Roy Multi Speciality Medical Research Centre, she has taught a Post Graduate course titled PATHOLOGICAL IMAGE PROCESSING. Her research interest includes histopathology, cancer biomarkers, advanced pathology including molecular pathology, cytogenetics etc.
