I am Kirk Steehler DO FOCOO. I am a past president of the American Osteopathic College of Otolaryngology and I am a past president of the American Osteopathic Board of Examiners for Otolaryngology. I am the previous residency training program director for Otolaryngology at UPMC Hamot Medical Center in Erie, Pa. for 20 years. I am currently active faculty at that institution. I have an interest in HPV head and neck cancer and have cared for head and neck cancer patients for 30 years. Matthew Steehler MD is a graduate of the Georgetown University Otolaryngology program and has prolifically published multiple journal articles. He co-authored this paper with me along with Kevin Steehler PGY 3, Emory University School of Medicine.
