As a medical graduate from SUMS, I have had the privilege to practice quality medicine in both outpatient and hospital setting under supervision of the most experienced, knowledgeable academicians. Serving as a first contact practitioner at Namazi hospital has provided me with the opportunity to further my interpersonal and bedside clinical skills.

When I was a child, I had a mini-microscope to study literally anything around me! Entering med school 10 years later, I soon realized I had passion for pathology. Labs have been scientifically-magical workplace to me since then.

I have co-authored 6 publications in indexed national and international medical journals. My M.D. thesis was also in the field of pathology, and I gained invaluable hands-on experiences during the year I spent at SHARC working on it. My main research interests are focused in hematopathology, oncopathology, and infectious diseases.

I also have a keen interest in preventive care, as well as healthcare leadership, advocacy, and women's empowerment. Currently, I am exploring digital health and applications of AI in healthcare as I am immensely curious and ecstatic about the benefits of science and technology in preventive and diagnostic medicine.
