Diagnosed T3N1 colorectal cancer March 2016. Implemented low-carb diet immediately, symptoms disappeared. Proceeded with conventional chemoradiation summer 2016. Pathology following surgery Sept 2016 revealed pathologic complete response yet chemosensitivity testing on diseased tissue showed likely low efficacy of my prescribed Xeloda, inferring adjunctive benefits of low-carb diet. More low-dose adjuvant Xeloda until Feb 2017 while using adjunctive ketogenic diet, HD vit-C, and supplements. CTC readings zeroed out after two months. Continue to use and refine my ketogenic diet, research the literature, interact with leaders in the field, and provide information (but not advice) for cancer patients interested in the ketogenic diet.
