Henry Ng, MD, MPH is an physician, educator and advocate for LGBTQ+ health.

They completed their BS and MD degrees at Michigan State University. They completed their residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine/Pediatrics at MetroHealth Medical Center. In 2012, they completed a Masters in Public Health degree at Case Western Reserve University with an emphasis on Health Promotion/Disease Prevention for LGBTQ+ populations. They attained the rank of Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. They have served as the Assistant Dean for Admissions at the School of Medicine working on diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Dr. Ng’s clinical and academic work focused on delivering culturally and clinically competent care to medically vulnerable populations. Dr. Ng has been involved in LGBTQ+ health care since 2007 and currently they serve as the Director for the Center for LGBTQ+ Care and Director of the Transgender Surgery & Medicine Program at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Dr. Ng's academic interests are in LGBTQ+ Health, health disparities, health education and public/population health. They served as an associate editor for the journal, LGBT Health and are a senior associate editor for the journal, Annals of LGBTQ Public and Population Health.

Dr. Ng was a board member and past president of GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBT Equality and was involved in medical education and mentorship. They have also served on the National Advisory Council for the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality.
