I oversee the department of radiology including but not limited to compliance with rules, regulations and bylaws, setting policies related to imaging guidance interventions, general and specialties imaging sections, radiation safety with adequate quality assurance and performance improvement. I introduce numerous concepts that result in improving most policies and procedures of the radiology department and radiation safety throughout the institution. My lead educator role to medical students, residents, fellows and junior faculty is a perfect match for my long time and ongoing histories of basic and translational peer reviewed publications and research works. • As an "Associate Professor of Radiology and Surgery" at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, I am teaching on daily basis medical students, residents and fellows as well as radiological technologists, nursing partitioners and physician assistants and junior faculty with hands-on experience in a variety of cardiovascular and interventional radiology, general and specialty radiology as well as pre and post-procedural care of imaging guided mini-invasive surgical procedures such as thrombolysis, thrombectomy, angioplasty, stenting, angiogram, cancer therapy, embolization, venous access, tunneled and non-tunneled catheter placement, pleural and peritoneal drainage, abscess drainage, biopsies, dialysis access, as well as biliary, gastrointestinal, urological and neurosurgical mini-invasive surgical procedures with all related research works. Interests: US & World Public Health and Healthcare Management, Reforms and Research studies.
