About
I am an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology specializing in glaucoma at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. My areas of interest include providing tailor-made therapy for patients with glaucoma and emphasizing wholesome approach. Our research Team has been working on developing a novel glaucoma drainage device, Squid Glaucoma Shunt (SGS). It is now in the fabrication stage. Other areas of research include using optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) in the management of glaucoma, analyzing the use of ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) in patients with narrow angles, studying the prevalence of depression in patients with glaucoma.
