I am one of the first Minimal Access ,Gastro intestinal and Robotic surgeons of the eastern India and have led the Indian surgical bodies namely Indian association of Gastro International Endosurgeons as president and am presently Founder president of “Association of Robotic and Innovative Surgeons “,a global body born in India.I am chief surgeon of Swagat Super speciality hospitals and surgical Institute located in Guwahati,India.I have several first of the region to my credit . I have been involved in research on Robotic hernias ,gall stone and cancer,and several similar research including ongoing work on Robotic hernia surgery.
