About

I’m a biochemical engineer with a PhD in Microbiology and Molecular Biology with +10 years of demonstrated research experience. I’m currently working as postdoctoral scientist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (No. 2 best hospital in the nation) in the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer institute. My work has focused on the discovery and characterization of tumor biomarkers, the isolation of human antibodies for potential cancer therapy through phage display, the design of bi-specific antibodies for immune checkpoint molecules, the effect of blocking antibodies on Myeloid-derived suppressor cells in the tumor microenvironment, and the preclinical development of cell adoptive cell therapies for cancer treatment. Since 2016 I have been an active member of the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) at which I have presented for 6 consecutive years. I’m currently looking to participate in advancing potential immunotherapeutics into the clinical stage and make a real impact on the quality of life of cancer patients.
