I am a hematologist with over 10 years of experience in the management of hematologic malignancies, currently leading the Hematology Group at Clínica Los Cobos in Bogotá. My main interest lies in leukemia, myeloma, and lymphomas, as well as rare diseases such as PNH and myelodysplastic syndromes, where I have taken on academic and clinical leadership roles at a national level.
I am passionate about integrating artificial intelligence and data science into medicine to enhance diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment. I hold a Master’s in Molecular Oncology, am finalizing a Master’s in Statistics and Data Science, and I am starting a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at Universidad de La Sabana, focusing on predictive modeling in cancer.
Beyond clinical practice and research, I am a competitive chess player, and I value chess as a model of learning and strategy that enriches my approach to medicine, AI, and education.
