• Dr Garima Mittal is presently working as Professor of Microbiology in Himalayan institute of medical sciences, SRH University, Dehradun. Besides being involved in MBBS teaching as UG coordinator, she has also mentored many postgraduate and PhD students with their thesis work. She has keen interest in research, has 70 plus publications in reputed journals. She also has three copyrights to her credit and one patent. So far she has worked in 15 extramural and 32 Intramural projects. Currently she is holding the position of Chairperson of Hospital infection control committee in Himalayan Hospital, Incharge of State Reference Lab (SRL) for HIV diagnostic work, Incharge of State Reference Centre (SRC) for STI diagnostic work for Uttarakhand state, Nodal officer for NAP-AMR and Technical manager of serology section for NABL.
