Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar, MD (Forensic Medicine and Toxicology). MPA, PGDHRM, Fellow PAFMAT, FIMSA is presently working as Professor, in the Department of Forensic Medicine at AIIMS, Bathinda. Guided more than 10 MD Students (Forensic Medicine) and have authored more than 70 scientific articles in leading national and international journals, have authored 8 chapters in various books, and have published 2 Books on Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
I was awarded the Prestigious Fellowship Award of PAFMAT in 2021 and Fellowship of International Medical Sciences Academy in 2024.
I have Chaired more than 40 sessions at National and International Conferences and have presented more than 60 papers at international and national conferences.
Currently 4 ongoing intramural projects in the dept of FMT AIIMS Bathinda.
Three patents have been filed in collaboration with the Department of Orthopedics.
A. An apparatus of fixation extraarticular distal humerus fracture through recontoured y-plate
B. An apparatus for fixation of tibial anterior cruciate ligament avulsion
C. A dynamic slant board device for improved calf stretching
