Drawing on over five years of expertise in the field of medicine, Dr. Charran specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Prior to embarking on her professional journey, she pursued an education at Cornell University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in communication in 2010. She continued her academic efforts at St. George's University School of Medicine earning a Doctor of Medicine Cum Laude with Research Distinction in 2014. Subsequently, she completed her residency in internal medicine at MedStar Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center, and undertook a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in affiliation with St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in 2017. As a commitment to her field, Dr. Charran is board-certified in critical care medicine, pulmonary medicine and internal medicine and holds certification in advanced cardiovascular life support and basic life support.

Dr. Charran began her career as a resident physician at MedStar Health from 2014 to 2017. Between 2017 and 2020, she served as a pulmonary and critical care physician at Mount Sinai Health System in New York. Since 2020, she has found much success as an attending physician of pulmonary and critical care medicine at the Kingman Regional Medical Center in Arizona. In this capacity, she specializes in pulmonary diseases and manages an intensive care unit for patients with various critical illnesses, including COVID-19. Moreover, to remain aware of developments affecting her field, Dr. Charran has maintained her professional affiliation with a number of pertinent organizations, including the American College of Chest Physicians, the American Thoracic Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine, among others.

In her career related endeavors, Dr. Charran has co-authored multiple research articles, including "The Proatlas: A Comprehensive Review with Clinical Implications" in 2012, "Ligaments of the Rectum: Anatomical and Surgical Considerations" in 2014, and "261: Fluid Resuscitation in Critically Ill Patients with Shock: the Impact of Comorbidities" in 2016, to only name a few. Well regarded for her contributions to the field, she has received multiple awards, including the Distinction in Research award from Saint George's University School of Medicine in 2012, and a first placement award in Research Podium at the National Abstract Competition by the American College of Physicians in 2017. Among her professional accomplishments, she is most proud of serving as a chairperson for the critical care council at the Kingman Regional Medical Center, where she implemented necessary changes to improve workflow and patient safety. Dr. Charran attributes much of her success in her specialty to her perseverance, humility, resilience, compassion, attentiveness and assertiveness.
