Graduated in 1991 from a government medical college, India. Obtained a diploma in Anesthesia in 1994, worked as a consultant anesthetist for 5 years in private hospitals at Visakhapatnam, India. Joined as a medical officer for the government in 1999, worked in tribal areas for 3 years, received the best medical officer twice. In 2002, appointed as a tutor and started as a medical teacher and taught physiology and anesthesia for 7 years. In 2007 joined as tutor cum postgraduate in the Pediatrics Department, took an MD degree in Pediatrics in 2010. Later did Joint Masters in Medical Professions Education (JMHPE) from Gulf Medical University in collaboration with FAIMER from 2019-2021. From June 2010 onwards started working as an Assistant professor, Pediatrics in a government teaching college in India involved in medical graduate and postgraduate teaching.
Trained as a master trainer for UNICEF programs, IMNCI, FBNC, and took trainings for more than 10 batches of medical officers and nurses working in primary health care centers in India. Also trained as a facilitator in NSSK program where the care of newborns at the time of birth, took training nurses working in specialized newborn care areas.

Trained 5 batches of postgraduate students all over India from different medical Colleges as an online mentor for Al India Institute of Medical Sciences sick-newborn course in collaboration with WHO. Published 3 original research works in indexed journals, presented more than 10 papers in various national and international conferences. Received the best medical teacher award in 2012 from Rangaraya Medical College where I was working as an Assistant professor. Worked for 9 months as a pediatrics specialist in Shifa Al Jazeera medical center in UAE from 2016 January to October 2016. Did AMEE certificate course on Essential skills in Medical Education (ESME) and Joint Masters in Health Professions Education (JMHPE) from Gulf Medical University, Ajman in collaboration with FAIMER and Cen Medic. From 1st November 2016 till 31st August 2022 worked as Associate professor and got promoted to professor on 1st September 2022 since then till to date working as a Professor at RAK Medical and Health Sciences University. I have Published 20 papers in indexed journals, guided more than 18 student research projects of which 7 were awarded various prizes in scientific conferences.
