Dr. Satish Chandra is the Chief Technology Officer with Restor Consult Inc., USA. He received his training in the United States after graduating from CJE Medical College and earned an MS and a Ph.D. from the USA, followed by an MBA in Healthcare Management from the University of Nebraska, and is American Board Certified in Medical Quality and Informatics. He has successfully led the Joint Commission, AAHRPP, ACGME (medical residency), and US-FDA for clinical trials for the past 24 years. He has proven research and innovation accomplishments in academic medical centers and the pharmaceutical industry, in the USA, UAE, and India. He is also credited as the original inventor of the human major depressive disorder gene. His healthcare leadership accomplishments include the successful deployment of health technology incubators, public-private research partnerships, international collaborations, and industry-academia technology transfer programs. He has supervised several doctoral students and medical residents. Recipient of several global awards from the USA, Japan, and Switzerland, including the Innovator of the Year in Medicine 2018-2019, and Technology Innovation Pioneer shortlisted (2020). He has published over 125 peer-reviewed indexed international papers, such as in the Lancet (2020), Breast (2020), Contemporary Clinical Trials (2020) & BMC Infectious Diseases (2021). He enjoys teaching, researching, and problem-solving as a consultant.
