I am by training a medical researcher, having experience of around 15 years in the field of disease diagnosis and the understanding of the biology of infectious organism. I have understanding of the basic biotechnological application and approaches because of my training during my MS degree at the University of Bangalore, Bangalore INDIA. After then I moved on the basis and applied research field in search of the diagnosis and patient care bed to bench side application. Last year (2021), I joined the University of Texas health Sciences at Tyler, Texas US.

Here at the UTHCT, I have taken a new challenging field of modelling and simulation in search of the drugs for pediatric MDR TB patient. I am now willing to explore the Pharmacokinetics (PK) and Pharmacodynamics (PD) indices to search novel drug compounds which are newer or under the pipelines for TB or the other diseases.

Before joining here to the University of Texas, I have vast experience of Infectious disease and trained in various disease model at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi INDIA. I did my PhD in Leishmaniasis and have been trained in the field of DNA vaccine for tuberculosis and leishmaniasis, water microbiology, Foot and mouth disease virus disease, development of invitro diagnostic tests and validations, food born zoonotic pathogens, and various other related field of microbiology. Now I am focusing for the MDR/XDR drug development specially for children's.
