Dr. Derya Uzelli Yilmaz completed her Bachelor’s, MSc, and PhD degrees in nursing at the University of Ege in Turkey. She is currently employed as an assistant professor in the Fundamentals of Nursing department at Katip Celebi University in Izmir, Turkey.She is interested in simulation-based learning in health sciences education. She completed a scholarship as a visiting assistant professor at the Centre for Simulation Based Learning at McMaster University, Canada, between 2019 and 2020.
