I am a U.S. medical student at the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (LMU-DCOM) in Harrogate, TN pursuing a residency in General Surgery. I had a non-traditional path to medical school and spent a lot of time working and volunteering in a wide range of fields, such as construction, coaching, primary care, emergency medicine, and pharmacovigilance. I've completed a Master's degree in Biomedical Science prior to medical school and I am currently enrolled in the DO/MBA dual degree program at my institution. Outside of school, I work as a Research Intern for an academic-based rural health research center.
