Dr. Nirav Gupta is a Joint Replacement and Sports Surgeon with 7 years of clinical experience in the field. He has developed expertise in Conventional, Robotic and Minimally Invasive Total Knee Replacement (TKR), Total Hip Replacement (THR) and Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty (RSA). He also specialises in Keyhole surgeries (Arthroscopic Surgeries) for knee ligaments, articular cartilage, meniscus, and other related conditions.
After completing his MBBS from Dr. VM Govt Medical College, Solapur, India, he did his MS Orthopaedics from prestigious Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College (Sion Hospital), Mumbai. He has also bagged 1st Prize in the State-level Orthopaedics Quiz competition and procured 4th Rank in the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik University Exams.
Later, as an Assistant Professor in Sion Hospital, he has played an instrumental role in conducting and organising various orthopaedic teaching courses for young residents and surgeons. He further completed his fellowships in Primary, Complex and Revision Hip and Knee Replacement (Mumbai and South Korea) and Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy (Bangalore and Hungary).
He is a dedicated and skilled orthopaedic surgeon with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and achieving optimal outcomes. His peers often regard him as sincere, hard-working, intelligent, and with high moral and ethical values. He strives to update his knowledge in the field of orthopaedics and research, and currently has 11 international journal publications. He is also a reviewer for many reputable international journals, including the Indian Journal of Orthopaedics, Journal of Clinical Orthopaedics and Trauma, Hip & Pelvis, and Cureus, among others.
