Dr. Hina Qureshi graduated from the prestigious Dow Medical College, Karachi, in 1997. After completing her Internship at the Civil Hospital Karachi, she did her fellowship training in Clinical Pathology (2004) and later in Hematology (2008) from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan. Trained at the Liaquat National Hospital, Karachi, after completion of her fellowship, she continued working there as Senior Registrar (2002 - 2009). She then served at the Kidney Centre Post graduate Training Institute Karachi, for over 6 years as Head Department of Pathology and Consultant Hematologist. (2009 - 2015) She was then selected as the Acting Chair, Division of Clinical Pathology, Consultant Hematologist at The Cancer Foundation Hospital, Karachi. (2015 - 2016). She then moved to KSA at Dr. Sulaiman al Habib Medical group, Riyadh, where she served as the Head sections of Hematology and Blood Bank. At Dr. Sulaiman al Habib (HMG), she was actively involved in accreditation of her Laboratory sections with the JCIA, AABB, CAP and also participated in the John Hopkin's Aramco Survey. (2016 - 2018) Dr. Qureshi came back to Pakistan & restarted to work at The Kidney Centre PGTI, Karachi, as Head, Department of Pathology & Consultant Hematologist. She further acquired a professional Diploma in Quality in Healthcare and Clinical Governance (2020). She led the Hospital's Quality, Safety & Risk Committee as the Chairperson. (2018 - 2022) She is currently serving the Ministry of Health, Madinah Munnawarrah at King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Medical City, Madinah, KSA, as Consultant Hematopathologist. (2022 till date). Throughout her diverse and Dynamic career, she served at Clinical, academic and administrative posts while also keeping herself involved in Hospital wide Quality improvement activities. She has 17 publications on her credit while she also wrote for news papers and did a few awareness programs on TV channels and social media. She has organized as well as has been invited to present in multiple national and International Conferences. One of her publication as co-author, presented at AATM Conference in Antalia, Turkey, won the first place award.
