About

Marc was born in Bucharest, Romania and moved with his family to New York City at the age of 2, where he was raised He attended New York University for college where he double majored in Chemistry and Mathematics. Due to his early interest in radiation therapy, Marc then pursued a Master of Science degree at Columbia University School of Engineering in Medical Physics, sub-specializing in Radiation Therapy and Brachytherapy. Following his MS degree, he returned New York University for his MD degree.



Marc completed a Complex Spine and Spine Tumor Fellowship at the Swedish Neuroscience Institute. He continues to be a research associate with the Seattle Science Foundation where he is faculty at many courses. Currently he is completing his neurosurgical residency at Wayne State University where he will continue as faculty.




Although the entire field of neurosurgery excites him, Marc has a particular interest in Spinal Oncology, Complex Spine and Radiosurgery.
