Jeff L. Xu, M.D., FASA, is a board certified anesthesiologist, Professor of Anesthesiology, Chief, Division of Regional Anesthesia & Acute Pain Management at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College (WMC/NYMC). He is the founder and former program director of the Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine Fellowship at WMC/NYMC, serving in this role from 2016 to 2024.
Dr. Xu also has many roles outside of the WMC community including committee member in the Educational Track Subcommittee of Regional Anesthesia for American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA), Practice Management and CME Committee for American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA), Pain Management Committees for the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists (NYSSA), as well as the reviewer for PubMed Indexed Journals.
Dr. Xu is an active member of the research community with many publications in the field of regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine. His clinical research Interests are regional anesthesia and perioperative pain management.
