Dr Siti Idayu Binti Hasan is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Nicotine Addiction Research Group, UMCAS, University of Malaya. She is interested in applying program evaluation techniques, particularly impact evaluation to research questions across a range of public health areas, including tobacco control and mental health settings. Her research in SCOPE training has produced an evaluation tool (ProSCiTE) to evaluate the effectiveness of smoking cessation training for health professionals. She is involved in consulting projects for tobacco control and mental health under WHO and UNICEF. She is also active in tobacco control advocacy activities at universities and schools.
