Monica Pinto is chief of the Rehabilitation Medicine Unit of the National Cancer Institute - IRCCS - Fondazione G. Pascale of Naples, Health Strategic Services Department, since 01.04.2008 onwards, and Medical Director since 01.07.2020 onwards. Her main fields of clinical research are Quality of Life in cancer, pain and bone health in cancer. She is Medical Director of Rehabilitation Medicine Unit and coordination of Health Professionals team and Clinical Researchers, Adjunct Professor of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine at the Nurse College and of Bioethics at the University of Naples Federico II. She is active member of the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer (EORTC) and Co- Investigator in EORTC Quality of Life Group studies. She is active member of the Italian Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (SIMFER) and of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (ISPRM) , chair of the Italian Cancer Rehabilitation Special Interest Group and co-chair of the Research team of the ISPRM Cancer Rehabilitation.
