After completing medical school at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons in NYC, I completed OB/GYN residency at Northwestern in Chicago , served as an Epidemic Intelligence officer in the Division of Reproductive Health at the Centers for Disease Control , and arrived in Jacksonville as a junior faculty member in 1984. I am now Tenured Professor at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville. My areas of clinical and research focus are menopause, medical management of abnormal uterine bleeding and contraception.
